Living in the Flow of Brave Visions

Welcome to April, Framily!

We have started our first Camp & Create. Please share and hope to see you sometime this month as well! We will celebrate the new moon as it arrives on Friday the 17th and per Resonate Sunshine tradition on Saturday  the 18th.

At Resonate Sunshine, we live in the flow of life, honoring the daily and seasonal rhythms of nature and listening to our own bodies. The past month has been a beautiful reminder that magic happens in that flow.

We welcomed a new WorldPacker, McKenna from Michigan who has been such a blissing helping in the garden and orchard and playing her guitar.

Ready returned and brought much laughter to the sanctuary, fixed up the outhouse, and assisted with grafting.

Dustin dug the ponds and Nile blessed the land and planted seeds and we enjoyed hearing about their experiences in Egypt.

McKenna also graciously cared for the sanctuary while we traveled to South Carolina for Emergence, a 4-day camping experience based on regional burning man that Sunshine helped bring into existence. Hearing the stories of life changes in only 4 days, we are curious how much more transformation may happen with longer stays at Resonate Sunshine.

The April astrological energies bring us opportunities for brave new beginnings, and building lasting belonging in ways that nourish and ignite us. This is exactly the vision we have for Resonate Sunshine and Camp & Create.

What brave vision feels genuinely nourishing for you right now and how can you share it in a manner that builds belonging?

Resonate Sunshine Breakfast

Variety may be the spice of life, but this breakfast never gets old and is so delicious and nutritious with enough energy to last all morning. We do vary the fruits and are most excited when they all come from the sanctuary.

Ingredients (per serving)

  • 1 Banana
  • 2 Tbsp. Peanut Butter
  • 1 Tbsp. Plant-based Yogurt
  • Cacao powder, to taste
  • Fresh fruit
  • Granola
Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mash the banana
  2. Blend in the peanut butter, yogurt, and cacao until smooth.
  3. Top with a variety of fresh fruits and granola and enjoy!

Sanctuary Visions

Now that the ponds are in place and beginning to fill up, we are visioning the wonderful retreats possible in the future. We now have extra clay for natural building and are envisioning the bath house and outdoor kitchen. One of our board members suggested these Safe-T-Homes from a grain silo as easy and inexpensive housing option.

Would love to hear thoughts on whether you would want to stay in one!

We look forward to welcoming you HOME soon at Camp & Create and New Moon Celebration! The more we connect and belong the brighter our light shines into the world – thank you for being us!

Keep Shining,
Ready, Nate, Sunshine, McKenna and All the Beings at Resonate Sunshine
